ITALICS – new insider’s guide curated by top Italian gallerists celebrates the country’s extraordinary heritage

Nine influential Italian galleries join forces in this difficult times to promote the beauty and urgency of art, culture, and education. With ITALICS Art and Landscape, the passionate directors, founders and managers of some of the most influential galleries in the peninsula share a first-hand guide to the country’s art, culture and contemporary lifestyle. More than 63 galleries, representing from ancient to emerging art are participating in this beautiful project.

Gagosian + NXTHVN x 3

Gagosian has announced three new initiatives in conjunction with its support of NXTHVN in New Haven, Connecticut. The gallery will endow the NXTHVN Apprenticeship Program; launch a professional development program for NXTHVN Fellows, featuring roundtable discussions and studio visits with Gagosian staff; and offer sales support to Pleading Freedom, a fundraising exhibition at the NXTHVN Gallery in New Haven.

Gagosian Rome and La Fondazione go 24/7

To celebrate the reopening of Gagosian Rome, the gallery will collaborate with La Fondazione to present nonstop programming each day, starting on Wednesday, June 3. The twenty-four-hour programming is both a tribute to Rome and its inhabitants, as well as an open invitation to experience the irrepressible energies of art.

Rudolf Polanszky the exhibition inaugurates his representation by Gagosian.

An important contributor to the artistic landscape of Vienna, Polanszky makes cerebral multidisciplinary works that embrace chance occurrence. His fundamentally improvisational practice marries conceptual philosophies with varied modes of production, resulting in compositions that oscillate between dual identities as concrete objects and symbols of subjective perception.
