Phillip Lai ‘Drunken Sailor’ solo exhibition of new work.

Modern Art is opening a solo exhibition of new work by Phillip Lai. Since the early 1990s, Phillip Lai has been working with sculpture to develop a visual language that enables a certain kind of thinking about abstraction and specificity in the ubiquitous objects and material that much of human life depends upon for sustenance and survival. Lai returns to similar typologies of objects in his work.

Modern Art now represent the Estate of Karlo Kacharava.

Modern Art has announced representation of the Estate of Karlo Kacharava (1964-1994). Their first exhibition of Kacharava’s work, curated by Sanya Kantarovsky and Scott Portnoy, will take place in October 2021 and open during Frieze week at Modern Art Helmet Row.

Linder

This will be Linder’s first solo exhibition in London since 2011 and includes previously unseen and new photomontage works as well as a series inspired by Ithel Colquhoun’s ‘Mantic Stain’ technique.

Eva Rothschild Iceberg Hits

Modern Art are showing a great solo exhibition of new work by Eva Rothschild. It’s Rothschild’s fifth solo exhibition with the gallery so they probably like her work as much as we do.
