The death of Brian Sewell heralded the death of art criticism. Or so I said. It was an inflammatory claim, designed to rile, but there was a grain of anxious serious in it. Sewell was not just a contrarian, he was an astute critic of refined tastes and a conscientious objector.

This is Chu Enoki’s first solo show in Europe.
A seminal figure in contemporary Japanese art, Enoki’s work has influenced younger artists such Takashi Murakami and Keiji Uematsu. Since the millennium, Enoki has received increasing acclaim and is now considered one of the most significant artists working in Japan, yet he is still not widely recognised internationally.

The work in the show is web based and the artist is using Youtube,in particular, as the medium.
The title A/B testing is a method used for internet marketing for companies to test which videos, e-flyers, adverts etc are most popular.
