Moniker UK is moving from Shoreditch to Chelsea in a year of radical change! As they continue to push the narrative of urban art, and its role on the London art scene, Moniker’s reinvention in Chelsea will pioneer its future-forward outlook.
Bringing existing and new collectors the latest trends, guidance, and early access to acclaimed urban and contemporary artists for many years, Moniker Art Fair has predicted the death of traditional urban art. In this vein, the Fair has just announced the first wave of innovating artists operating within their own bespoke studio spaces at The Old Truman Brewery this October.
Moniker Art Fair, known for pushing the boundaries of the art fair format, will embrace the digital revolution for this year’s edition, inviting visitors to participate in numerous exhibitions and interactive installation experiences, each technology a first for the art world.
At this year’s edition you’ll find a fantastic mix of art, food and Bitcoin! We have twenty galleries featuring over 80 artists, along with installations including ‘The Art of Patron Cocktail Cantina’ and ‘ Renaissance is Now’ – a large scale Bitcoin inspired street scene focusing on the concepts of decay and change. Thats going to be pretty amazing. There will also be exclusive print releases and a great bar and food offering by Assemble London, all taking place within the highly charged but friendly atmosphere of Moniker Art Fair.
Best known for his award winning typographic city map series, Mark Andrew Webber’s FORM is the result of several years of experimentation with line drawing and consists of a series of beautifully conceived mini-studies, which use basic sets of rules in order to create both deceptively simple and impossibly complex shapes and patterns
Over four days Moniker shines a spotlight on a generation of artists influenced by the urban environment and its related subcultures, showcasing established and emerging artists along with a creative programme of events including live painting, talks, tours, film screenings and exclusive art releases.
