Contemporary British poetic artist, Robert Montgomery has revealed his latest public artwork in Coal Drops Yard, King’s Cross: a light poem honouring his personal connection to the iconic London destination.
Robert Montgomery opens a major exhibition with a bold return to painting, the works galvanise Montgomery’s recent artistic objective that calls for a political and aesthetic re-invigoration of the “Modernist Dream”.
Following on from the great response from the public during Art Night, Time for Outrage! is taking over East London and will be on display in Shoreditch on the prominent billboards of the Great Eastern Wall Gallery for the summer.
Robert Montgomery’s work for our show Orientale* was originally intended to float in the Lagoon, moored directly outside the Palladio on Giudecca that houses our gallery-space. A 4 meter long skiff carrying a solar-powered sign that glows with the legend “ALL PALACES ARE TEMPORARY PALACES”.
