Josh Lilley has announced the expansion of their galleries at 40-46 Riding House Street. Nick Goss’ current exhibition, Nine Mile Burn, has been extended until January 15, 2021.

“Emotional Paintings about Economics” is a solo exhibition by Jack Burton. Burton’s practice considers the vertigo inherent in the all-encompassing, top-down view of macroeconomics, a system which tries to model economies on a national and global level in order to inform policy and, by extension, behaviour.

Were there an Olympics for sports and games in art, I could imagine table tennis, chess and football as medallists. Cricket is a rarer presence, partly I suppose due to its limited geographical scope, so the yet narrower history of cricket pads in art, rather than mere genre paintings or celebratory statues of cricketers wearing them, is less than extensive.
