London’s a very tough cookie as far as cities and being an artist goes. Spending a short amount of time in New York when I went out for NADA and LA, it feels like the opportunities there, if you’re an artist, are more in abundance.
This week’s top 9 features Impressionism, emerging art, particle physics, a fake gallery, Irish art, waves, monochrome, glass sculpture and textured paintings
Congratulations to Zhu Tian and Paul Schneider..

My work embraces a wide range of subjects influenced by my biographical past and brings in observations from reality and constructed fictional aspects.
My practise is heavily research based, I spend my time with Hasidic Jewish men eating, celebrating and socialising together.
I create minimal sculptures and installations which reflect space and time, with the aim to emphasise the physical, sensory and temporal experience of the work.
I am interested in communicating about our relationship with technology, media and society.
