Olafur Eliasson (b. 1967, Copenhagen, Denmark) creates artworks that use light, water, colour, and movement to recalibrate how we perceive the world. Moving fluidly between sculpture, installation, and architecture, he builds environments that heighten awareness—fog-filled chambers, shifting suns, rivers of refracted light. Rooted in ecology and social engagement, Eliasson’s practice invites viewers to experience themselves as part of a larger, shared system.
