The Liverpool Biennial, founded in 1998, stands as the UK’s premier free contemporary visual arts festival and the nation’s inaugural Biennial. This biennial event unites international artists, arts professionals, communities, and audiences every two years, offering a diverse array of exhibitions throughout the city. Complemented by a hybrid program featuring talks, performances, and events, the festival fosters connections between Liverpool, the UK, and the global art scene, encapsulating innovative perspectives.
