Pipilotti Rist (b. 1962, Grabs, Switzerland) reimagines video as a lush, sensorial landscape. Working with saturated colour, fluid editing and immersive installation, she turns screens into environments that spill across walls, floors and bodies. Her works drift between softness and subversion—intimate, humorous, and often dreamlike—probing how we see, feel and inhabit the world. Blending pop aesthetics with feminist critique, Rist transforms moving image into an experience of light, touch and emotional immediacy, inviting viewers into a space where technology becomes tender and enveloping.
