Today we hear from Sara Piccinini, the senior coordinator of Collezione Maramotti. She reflects on the present (and future) of the Collection amidst these particular times, as well as talking about all the different projects the public collection has put in place to support its artists.
Collezione Maramotti has announced that they will be reopening to the public this Thursday, 21st May 2020, while limiting admission to comply with social distancing regulations.
I have collated some of my favourite initiatives. and will interview the key players in this wave of change in the following weeks.
Drawing inspiration from the Fotografia Europea 2020 theme “Fantasies: Narratives, Rules, Inventions,” Collezione Maramotti, in collaboration with Casa Museo Mollino, is presenting an exhibition that brings together paintings by Enoc Perez and photographs by Brigitte Schindler and Carlo Mollino.
