Camden Art Centre will present a solo exhibition by Tenant of Culture, the anonym of Dutch artist Hendrickje Schimmel (b. 1990, Arnhem, Netherlands) this July 2022.
Today, Camden Art Centre and Frieze announce Tenant of Culture as the recipient of the 2020 Camden Art Centre Emerging Artist Prize with Frieze. Tenant of Culture, who is represented by Soft Opening, London, will realise a major exhibition at Camden Art Centre in 2022.
This week’s guest from isolation is Nora Silva. She is a London-based multidisciplinary artist, cook and singer born in Madrid (Spain). Silva graduated from the Royal College of Art, and she has since performed at Tate Exchange, the Design Museum and the Camden Arts Centre in London.
Camden Art Centre are launching The Botanical Mind this complimentary online programme of new artist commissions, podcasts, films, texts, images and audio, expanding on and enriching the ideas and issues informing the show.
Rendered Reality, a joint presentation of works by Joonhong Min and Shinuk Suh, opened at the Korean Cultural Centre in London last month.
