The lovely people at 19 greek street have just launched a great initiative to help support people or organisations working on altruistic and/or ethical projects.
Over the past 3 years, 19 greek street have run a series of carefully-curated exhibitions maintaining a high ‘niveau’ of good taste while tackling important issues in ethics and sustainability.
Furthermore, the unassuming soho townhouse has occasionally played host to private, client-commissioned events such as fashion presentations, press-launches, media events, exhibitions and more. Wallpaper Magazine, GQ, Aveda, Manolo Blahnik and Levi’s are only a handful of names which have been showcased in the space.
For 2016, the gallery is committing to donate 5 event hires absolutely free (of 2-3 days each) to people and/or organisations working on altruistic and/or ethical projects. The new, charitable initiative called “Space for progress” aims to support the work of ethical pioneers and help drive awareness to the important issues they raise. Each event package awarded has a market value of approximately £14,700 based on 19 greek street’s hire rates. .
