Don’t miss the chance to hear Turner Prize winning artist Susan Philipsz in conversation this Thursday with Steven Connor, Professor of English at Univeristy of Cambridge and contributing author to her new book You Are Not Alone.
Philipsz is known for her sound works such as Lowlands, I See Darkness and her 2010 Artangel commission SURROUND ME: A Song Cycle for London. She won the Turner Prize in 2010. Rarely in London, Philipsz will be here to collect her OBE for services to British art and launch a new book about her work. You Are Not Alone is co-published by Walther König and Artangel, edited by Artangel Co-Director James Lingwood and Brigitte Franzen, Director of the Ludwig Forum.
