Blain|Southern gallery in London just presented its show on some early photographs by the acclaimed film-maker Wim Wenders. It is an incredible occasion to discover a new side of this all-embracing artist, and to see for the first time some of his archival polaroids!

Early Works 1964-1984 features Polaroids and black-and-white photographs from Wim Wenders’ archive, many of which have never been shown before. The exhibition speaks to the artist’s belief in the authenticity of photographs that have not been altered, and the spontaneity of scenes that have not been staged or directed.
