The Most Interesting Art Events to see in London this week

There are lots of art events happening in London; talks, workshops, tours, discussions and many many more! To help you with the choice Jenny Judova from Art Map London has picked ‘The Most Interesting Art Events’ to see in London this week.

THURSDAY  3 AUGUST

Preview: David Small and Jeremy Willett ‘Desire Lines’

6:00 PM – 9:00 PM @ studio1.1 gallery, 57a Redchurch St, London, E2 7DJ

David Small’s extravagantly coloured, ever-expansive (yet finely controlled) abstract paintings will be exhibited upon the severe optic disruptions of Jeremy Willett’s black and white wallpapers, themselves abstracted from photographs of brutalist urban wallscapes.

FRIDAY 4 AUGUST

Late at Tate Britain

6:00 PM – 10:00 PM @ Tate Britain, Millbank, London, SW1P 4RG

Bring your friends, check out an amazing mix of artworks, have a drink and a bite to eat. It’s free to get in, a great atmosphere with a relaxed immersive mix of sound and visuals, hands-on making activities and intriguing discussion all curated exclusively by 15?25 year olds from Tate Collective London.

SATURDAY 5 AUGUST

Saturday Talks: Rebecca Lewin on Grayson Perry (with BSL interpretation)

3:00 PM – 3:30 PM @ Serpentine Gallery, Kensington Gardens, London, W2 3XA

Curator Rebecca Lewin leads a tour of the exhibition Grayson Perry: The Most Popular Art Exhibition Ever!, with British Sign Language interpretation by Jeni Draper.
