Vans® has partnered with Better With Age for a new creative collaboration debuting at Dover Street Market London this Friday, 15th May 2026.
The partnership reworks two classic Vans silhouettes through *Better With Age’s worn-in, vintage-inspired lens, transforming the shoes into highly customisable objects designed to evolve with the wearer over time.
Leading the release is the Vans® LX Authentic 44, presented in a navy and white colourway with a sun-faded upper, yellowed sole and custom leather label and insole. The second model, the Vans® LX Half-Cab 33, arrives in black suede with a yellowed sole, custom leather kiltie tassel, co-branded leather detailing and a bespoke insole.
The collaboration continues *Better With Age’s ongoing exploration of garments and objects that appear lived-in, altered and personal, bringing that aesthetic into dialogue with Vans’ skate heritage and DIY culture.
Launching alongside the footwear, *Better With Age will also take over a dedicated space inside Dover Street Market London, presenting its Spring/Summer 2026 collection alongside a retrospective t-shirt archive book and an exclusive collaborative t-shirt release.
On launch day, visitors purchasing a pair at Dover Street Market London will be invited to customise their shoes on-site using a curated selection of vintage patches and brass letter beads, allowing each pair to become entirely one-of-one.
The collaboration reflects the growing overlap between archival fashion culture, sneaker customisation and collectible design objects, while reinforcing Dover Street Market’s role as a platform for limited-edition fashion and streetwear collaborations.
The Vans® x *Better With Age collection launches exclusively at Dover Street Market London this Friday, 15th May, from 3:00PM to 5:00PM customise a pair of the reimagined classic Vans styles on-site using a selection of vintage patches and brass letter beads, making each pair truly 1-of-1. Discover the collaborative items and SS26 collection in a brand new special display whilst enjoying a live performance by Enola Gay, from 5:00PM to 7:00PM
before a wider global release later this month via Better With Age.
