It’s Frieze Week again, but this year there’s a flicker of uncertainty in the air. Will the collectors—especially the deep-pocketed Americans—skip London altogether and head straight for Paris, now that Art Basel has settled into the freshly revamped Grand Palais? If they stay, it may not be Frieze’s familiar formula that keeps them here, but the new energy gathering elsewhere: the third edition of Minor Attractions, the debut of Echo Soho, and the focused showcases of 1:54, Focus Art Fair, and the Paris-run PAD London.
1 Minor Attractions
Minor Attractions is back with its 3rd edition once again at The Manadrake. Blending contemporary art with performance and nightlife, the fair is becoming a catalyst in the city’s emerging art scene while carving out its place in the international commercial circuit. Minor Attractions reaffirms its continuity and ambition with an expanded line-up of 70+ galleries, nearly doubling its exhibition space, now spread over 15 hotel rooms, and a programme spanning film, sound, and performance arts. Echo Soho, the new art fair founded by and for female-led galleries, has announced the final list of exhibitors for its inaugural edition, taking place from 16th – 19th October 2025 in the heart of London’s Soho.
