“We are thrilled to offer such a varied group of Joseph Beuys works on an international stage at Phillips in London. Beuys as an artist remains relevant today and has stood the test of time, with solo and group shows of his work shown worldwide since the late 60s. In 2021 there will be celebrations around the world to mark Beuys’ 100th birthday and we are delighted to participate in commemorating his work this June. Phillips continues to be at the forefront of contemporary edition collecting, sourcing original and important works by masters of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries and creating curated sales such as Beuys 100.”
