A season of exhibitions, events, activities and workshops which celebrate the Autumn and Winter seasons mark the news that Jupiter Artland will remain open all year for the first time.
Three new major exhibitions will open on Saturday 11th October by Tai Shani, Georg Wilson and Florence Peake to mark this, all of which draw upon the earth, folklore, mythology, love and both the human and nature around us.

In the Jupiter Ballroom Georg Wilson, an emerging and highly regarded London based artist will have her largest exhibition to date, which will include new wall based works, drawing upon ideas of the urban and rural; fetishisation of the countryside, and brimming with mythical creatures and magic.

Florence Peake will present a new work To Love and to Cherish, marking the launch of commissioned floor painting for the new Glasshouse wedding venue at Jupiter Artland. To Love and to Cherish plays with and subverts the idea of traditional marriage vows and has been created using the bodies and actions of four dancers who painted directly onto the floor through passionate embrace and unwieldy connections during Jupiter Rising x EAF this summer. Aphrodite’s untamed love is invoked to form a continuous kiss between performers leaving its painted trace. Peake has then continued work on the piece – one of her most ambitious to date – which will be unveiled this October for the first time. The space is also available to hire as a wedding venue.
A new work for the landscape at Jupiter by Tai Shani, The Spell or The Dream, is a multi-faceted work inviting audiences to collectively dream of new horizons. At its heart is?The Spell, a magnificent new sculpture sited in Jupiter’s orchard of apple and plum trees. Resting atop a stepped plinth, where visitors can sit, gather or peer inside, the luminous blue figure gently breathes, caught in a suspended state, the spell. The dreamer sleeps through the warnings of present and imminent catastrophes, political and social disaster and environmental collapse – but it also dreams of resistance and renewal. The work features a newly commissioned soundscape by composer, producer and double bassist Maxwell Sterling. The Spell or The Dream (2025) was commissioned by and developed in residence at Somerset House Studios. The commission was made possible with Art Fund support.

The park will also remain open with many other well known favourite works from Tracey Emin to Andy Goldsworthy to Phyllida Barlow.
Other seasonal joy includes the splendid Café Party which will open for curated dinners every Saturday evening and festive afternoon teas in November, plus family afternoons with hot chocolates, fire pits, smores, roasted chestnuts & family workshops plus the chance to book your own seasonal or festive party in the new Glass House.
Nicky Wilson, Founder and Director, Jupiter Artland, said,
“We are delighted to open our next season with three such promising and ambitious artists combined with a season of events suited to the change in temperature and tone of the Scottish landscape as the nights draw in. Keeping Jupiter Artland open across the winter is a special new moment in our programme, which will afford visitors an entirely new type of experience on site, as the colours and light change into Autumn and Winter hues, across three magnificent exhibitions and specially curated events, suitable for all ages and interests. ”
