A free, pop-up art gallery is opening in Brick Lane Yard at Truman Brewery this Friday

A free, pop-up art gallery is opening in Brick Lane Yard at Truman Brewery this weekend opening on Friday 16th to Sunday 18th August brand-new installations are promised from Yinka Ilori, Lynnie Z and Craig & Karl.

The open-air gallery aims to encourage people in the capital and beyond to experience art “in a more accessible setting and to be creatively and culturally inspired”. Designed as the celebratory launch of Arto LIFEWTR, visitors will be invited to learn more about the new premium water brand and its ambition to advance and showcase emerging artists.

The vibrant collection of large scale artworks will be on display over the weekend for the public to explore, enjoy and interact with. Themes encapsulated by the pieces include unity and interdependence, types of happiness and the human yearning to reach out into the unknown.

LIFEWTR Lynnie Z

Arto LIFEWTR is a premium water brand dedicated to advancing emerging artists, providing the brand’s bottle as a canvas and serving as a platform for rising talent. The brand also provides a support program of exposure and advancement opportunities through collaborations with partners such as Frieze. The bottles are 100% recyclable and currently made with 50% recycled plastic (known as rPET), with an aim to increase to 100% recycled plastic in the near future.
