North Wales is one of the most scenic parts of the UK, and now there’s a prize to win a two week residency there – both for artists and poets. A chance to focus on the work away from the distraction of Wi-Fi with only the natural world to inspire your work.
It’s being run by Stiwdio Maelor and the theme for visual arts is works on paper. The visual arts competition is open until 9 November and the poetry one until 25 November. There is a small entry free with the winners being announced in November and December, and given a residency in either 2017 or 2018.
