Bow Skills Lab
Talk: Working with Artists in the Shifting Gallery Landscape:
The talk will end with a Q&A where Ceri will be joined by Rob Smith, Head of Education and Learning at Bow Arts, Rosamond Murdoch Gallery Director at Bow Arts and Bow Artist, Jessica Charleston. Rob brokers partnerships across different settings and commissioners, works with artists to run education programmes and develop public art works. Rosamond directs the Nunnery Gallery at Bow Arts and coordinates exhibitions such as the East London Painting Prize. Jessica co-runs Shed Press and works at The Illustration Cupboard Gallery, Green Park.

Symposium at Camberwell College of Arts
Conceived in conjunction with the Camberwell Space exhibition In an Absolut World True Taste Comes Naturally, this half day symposium will expand and reflect upon the themes of the exhibition.
The genre of nonsense raises philosophical problems from the first. There is a confrontation between meaning and non-meaning in the production of nonsense. The absurd is also born from this conflict. The absurd is of course not the ridiculous, and nonsense is not no sense.

An archival display of Francis Bacon’s show, held at the ICA’s former premises on Dover Street in 1955.

WE (Not I) brings together over 40 female artists, writers and curators for a week of events and seminars. The programme includes discussions around the voice, body and figure of the artist, understandings of non-singularity, and questions around collaborative practice.

Storytelling Family Workshop
Families will collaborate to create a small city together with urbacraft they will become urban designers for the day, starting by making their own room, then their house, growing to the scale of the street, and the city. They will learn how their neighbourhoods are made of living cells, and about their role in making their city come to life.
