The winner of the second Zabludowicz Collection Future Map Prize has been chosen. Josh Baum was selected for Instrument for observing water bounce, 2010. The prize was awarded at 7:30 pm tonight by Anita Zabludowicz at the opening reception for Future Map 10, hosted by the Zabludowicz Collection at 176. The Zabludowicz Collection Future Map Prize was founded in 2009 to support one graduating student from University of the Arts London’s annual Future Map exhibition.
Josh Baum faced tough competition from the other dynamic exhibitors in Future Map 10, London’s pre?eminent annual exhibition of graduating artists and designers from University of the Arts London. This year offers up an interactive show packed with performance, participation, sculpture and installation.
The selection panel for the Zabludowicz Collection Future Map Prize 2010 is composed of Zabludowicz Collection co-founder Anita Zabludowicz, designer Ron Arad and artist Toby Ziegler.
