Super parisian illustrator artist Soledad was creative director of an advertising company before starting a close collaboration with French magazine Elle through creating various protagonists, especially for Fonelle’s stories. For this exhibition she especially redesigned her work to fit the space at its best: “Because of the designated space I have at colette, I decided to enlarge my drawings to the size of an actual model, in relation with a fashion store.”
New original artworks and a selection of Soledad’s favorite drawings will be available, as well as many other products such as: candies from which profits will go to Children Action, collection Les Paresseuses for Monoprix – premiering at colette, macaroon boxes by Pierre Hermé, Petit Jour dishes, Atomic Soda stationery, of course many of her kid books at L’Ecole des Loisirs, Marabout boxes, all Paresseuses books and her first cocoloring book edited by colette, as well as new candles: Pop Corn and Barbe à Papa.
Soledad will be at colette for a public signing Saturday, March 16th 4 to 5pm.
