Ivana Baši? (b. 1986, Belgrade, Serbia; lives and works in New York, USA) creates sculptures and installations that probe the thresholds between body, technology and transcendence. Working with materials such as wax, stainless steel, alabaster, glass and resin, she builds figures that feel at once anatomical and otherworldly—forms suspended between becoming and dissolution.

Baši?’s practice draws on cosmology, philosophy, science fiction and the history of religious iconography. Bodies are fragmented, stretched or reconfigured, often suggesting post-human states where flesh, machine and spirit merge. Surfaces alternate between vulnerability and armour, translucency and rigidity, inviting viewers into an encounter that is both visceral and speculative.
