Rise Art has opened a new gallery in Soho and they are seeking submissions for Emergence, their upcoming group exhibition.
Emergence can mean many things. Emergence is when an existing thing that has been closed away is revealed. It is also when something entirely new comes into existence. In the last month, London’s art world has begun to emerge from a difficult year, galleries that were forced to close during the last lockdown finally reopening their doors.
In this time, Rise Art has brought something new into existence. Their Soho gallery will play host to a program of solo and group exhibitions throughout 2021. For Emergence, their upcoming group exhibition which will run from July 29th – September 17th, they are inviting you to show with them.
The theme is deliberately broad, and they are open to creative interpretations of it in your submission. Each selected artist will also be invited to show their work with Rise Art online. They are not looking for any specific media and the call is open to artists at any stage in their career. If you would like to be considered to take part in this exhibition, you can enter your submission via this form. The deadline is June 16th at 10pm and their Curators will process all applications and let you know the outcome by June 23rd. The work you submit must be possible for you to get to their Soho gallery ready to hang or display for July 19th.
