dots design studio mess around with materials, such as metal and wood. They like to push them beyond their boundaries both conceptually and functionally in order to create interesting and unique products.
The ‘Plybike’ uses wood that has been developed specifically for outdoor use. The combination of oak, teak and black walnut create a great looking bike that is light and sturdy. The joints are made of high-tensile steel, with aluminum accents such as the handlebar and crankset. The run is limited to 500 accompanied by a single speed rear coaster brake.
