Random International, the internationally acclaimed art group behind Rain Room, has launched TOGETHER, a new large-scale initiative for immersive, participatory art at Piccadilly Lights. Running daily until 1st March 2026, the project transforms The Venue beneath the iconic screen into a space for collective creativity in the heart of London.
Spanning five interactive installations across three floors, TOGETHER invites visitors of all ages to co-create artworks through movement, gesture, and presence. Each work unfolds in real time, with select outcomes projected directly onto the Piccadilly Lights screen—placing individual creativity at the centre of one of the world’s most recognisable digital landmarks.

At the core of the experience is Pixelography, premiering as the flagship installation. Using intuitive, painterly gestures, participants generate expressive digital portraits, producing one-of-a-kind images available as both prints and digital files. Also debuting is Piccadilly Blur, a site-specific work in which visitors’ movements reshape the venue’s hero screen into shifting, atmospheric compositions.

Other installations include Body / Light, previously seen at the Noor Riyadh Festival, where visitors draw luminous trails through space using their bodies, and Temporary Graffiti, shown previously at Tate and Serpentine Galleries, which invites participants to paint with light on responsive surfaces. Life in Our Minds completes the immersive sequence, visualising collective behaviour through evolving swarms that respond to the presence and actions of the audience.

TOGETHER also features two additional works exploring how humans instinctively recognise and form patterns. Human Algorithm / Imagine uses custom algorithms to examine emergent collective behaviour, while Study for Fifteen Points / I presents a kinetic light sculpture that suggests a human figure in motion. A related iteration of the work is currently on view as part of Wayne McGregor’s Infinite Bodies exhibition at Somerset House.

The project marks the first chapter in a long-term partnership between Random International and Landsec, owner of Piccadilly Lights and The Venue, reimagining how art, technology, and public space intersect in the city. Alongside the installations, TOGETHER includes a café and design store offering co-created collectible merchandise, positioning the venue as a welcoming creative hub.
TOGETHER is open daily from 12PM–8PM. Tickets start at £15 and are available via FEVER, with 10% of profits donated to mental health charity Take A Moment.
