Asprey Studio & Marvel unveil Marvel Masterpieces Avengers: Asprey Studio Collection, a groundbreaking fusion of physical and digital artistry celebrating some of Marvel’s most iconic comic-book heroes. The collection brings together 60 legendary characters, each realised as a 1-of-1 sterling silver sculpture paired with an exclusive digital artwork—two singular creations conceived in tandem, honouring precision craft, heritage techniques, and forward-leaning innovation.
Expanding the project’s scale, Asprey Studio has also released a suite of one-metre sculptures of Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, and Thanos, each priced around £1.5 million. Smaller works extend the collection’s reach, ranging from $35,000 to $200,000, offering a spectrum of entry points into this rare collaboration between luxury craft and comic-book mythology.

With origins dating back to 1939, the Marvel Universe has introduced characters that have shaped popular culture for generations, from Captain America, Iron Man to Black Panther and beyond. Rooted in Marvel’s rich comic book legacy and its influence on contemporary art, from Jeff Koons’s Hulk Elvis to record breaking auction results like the $3.36 million sale of a 1984 Spider Man single page, speaking directly to collectors of art, comic culture, and rare objects.
Both the dynamic digital artworks and the sterling silver sculptures are handcrafted by Asprey Studio. The sculptures are created by master silversmiths at the Asprey Studio Atelier in Kent, through a multi-stage process combining traditional silversmithing with modern techniques. The digital artworks which can be accessed using the Ethereum blockchain, are hand-sculpted and animated frame by frame by the Studio’s creative team, using Marvel’s deep archive of comic books as their foundation to reimagine the characters in 3D.

“Working closely with Marvel, we wanted to retain the soul of each character as well as their appearance as closely as possible. Each digital artwork is ‘alive’ – it moves very subtly and unpredictably. The average person spends 27 seconds looking at art, so we wanted to have the digital artwork look slightly different each time you see it. Then each piece is paired to a beautifully crafted silver sculpture, made by our master silversmiths at the Asprey Studio Atelier. Creating a collection of 1-of-1 pieces means heightened rarity and added value for our collectors”
Alastair Walker, Chief Creative Officer of Asprey Studio
