Tom of Finland Foundation touch down in Palm Springs with another TOM’s Weekend.

Following on from London the Tom of Finland Foundation (ToFF) touch down in Palm Springs with another chapter in the story that is TOM’s Weekend during this year’s Palm Springs Pride.

ToFF’s ongoing efforts for over three and a half decades have been dedicated to protecting, preserving and promoting the erotic arts. The Foundation aims to showcase cultural merits of erotic art and promote healthier, more tolerant attitudes about sexuality overall.

ToFF Chief Experience Officer, S.R. Sharp said of the pop-up at Ace Hotel & Swim Club:

“This amazing collaboration allows us to bring together artists, followers and talents in a dynamic environment as a true Tom of Finland experience.”

The weekend will kick off on Friday, November 4th with a poolside pop-up of the CULTUREEDIT / Tom of Finland Store at the Clubhouse at Ace Hotel & Swim Club, offering new exclusive TOM offerings, limited edition products and collabs with J.W. Anderson, Honey Fucking Dijon, and Happy Hour Skateboards. The pop-up will also feature an exhibition of Polaroid photos taken by Tom of Finland Ambassador Terry Miller.

Activities on Friday will commence with a hyper-pop party by FAKE AND GAY during which, San Francisco based curator and FAKE AND GAY founder Adam Kraft will be setting the mood with afternoon poolside sets alongside Casey MQSaturn and Ah-Mer-Ah-Su. In the evening guests will move on to the Amigo Room at Ace for TOM’s Lounge with music by LA’s house collective TUNNEL and sounds by DJs OzaPalmaand Sevyn. Rush Davis and Kingdom will join TUNNEL for a special Saturday night set. TOM’s Lounge will also offer a specially curated cocktail menu from which $1 of every drink sale will go towards the Tom of Finland Foundation.

On Saturday November 5th, Tom of Finland artist in residence Oat Montien will instruct a still life drawing class on the 2nd floor of the Clubhouse. And finally on Sunday November 6th, Los Angeles based queer and trans API collective QNA will close the festival with resident DJs Ly, Jae-An, Howin and Pauliewog on the decks and special performances by artists Yuki and Ethical Drvgs of Jolene – a trans-inclusive variety show that gives transwomen a platform and uplifts female-identifying, femme non-binary & BIPOC dancers.

TOM’s Weekend will be open to the public Friday to Sunday from noon until 2AM. Attendees can sign up for activities through the events page HERE for the full weekend.

ABOUT Ace Hotel & Swim Club

Ace Hotel & Swim Club is a mid-century desert modern former Westward Ho with a Denny’s — Ace dusted it off and gave it some love, turning it into a 173-room hotel, spa and resort in Palm Springs, CA. There’s a stargazing deck, a couple of very deep pools, and large, unique event spaces for meetings, weddings and parties. The rooms incorporate earth-friendly and sustainable elements, like recycled materials, low VOC paints and vintage furniture. Brought to life by interior design firm Commune Design, the property is simple, organic and bohemian.

The hotel’s restaurant and bar, King’s Highway and the Amigo Room, serve redefined roadside diner fare and crafty cocktails into the late hours, and the Feel Good Spa offers treatments centered around fresh, reinvigorating local ingredients. @acehotelpalmsprings
