The Night Cafe” is a VR project by Mac Cauley that allows a person to see Vincent van Gogh’s infamous Le Café de nuit through the famed artist’s eyes.
The blending of colors, surroundings and elements all stay true to Vincent van Gogh’s artistic vision, including a representation of the artist himself modelled on his self-portrait. Waves of light emanate from the hanging fixtures and the project features a number of hidden elements including the ability to explore a number of his pieces and Cauley notes that he’s continuing to expand and add to the experience.
