A reformed armed robber who used to ‘knock over’ London bookmakers has gained a first class honours degree in fine art from Central St martins and has been chosen to be one of the 40 artists chosen for The Catlin Art Guide 2014 which is launched next week at London Art Fair.
John Costi 26 was awarded his degree for his live performance art and got into art after taking up art therapy while at Feltham Young Offenders Institution.
Catlin Guide 2014 launches at London Ar Fair stand P25 in the Art Projects section, Business Design Centre, Islington, until 19th January. Following the launch, it will be available to buy for £12.99 from Amazon, Culture Label and selected book sellers.
