?Modern Art is pleased to announce a solo exhibition of clay sculpture by Anna-Bella Papp. This is her first solo exhibition. Anna-Bella Papp makes delicate tablet-like reliefs, sculpted by hand in unfired clay. Her work is shown flat on a table, or hung on the wall.
Anna-Bella Papp was born in Chi?ineu-Cri?, Romania, in 1988. She studied at the University of Art and Design, Cluj, Romania, 2007-2010, and de Ateliers, Amsterdam, Netherlands, 2011-2013.
In a solo exhibition of the celebrated Patrick Caulfield (b. 1936 – d. 2005), Waddington Custot will look deeper at the artist’s practice across a variety of media, from oil painting to prints and his lesser-known and rarely exhibited drawings, with particular attention to Caulfield’s preoccupation with light and shade across various times of day.
A Burn Scar Visible from Space is an upcoming exhibition of photographs from Taryn Simon’s ongoing series Black Square, begun in 2006.
The PUBLIC Gallery has just announced Mia Wilkinson’s second solo show at the gallery: ‘THIS IS NOT PORN’. It will exhibit a selection of Mia’s recent works (2016-18) exploring the depiction of the female nude in our media-obsessed age.
