For 70 minutes today, in the Museum of Modern Art’s sculpture garden, Andy Warhol will be showing us Taylor Mead’s ass in a special screening of the movie by that name. iPhone says there’s going to be a thunderstorm at that time, but that’s also kind of awesome (rain date tomorrow, call ahead). Workshop: A Summer Salon with Karen Finley at the Guggenheim

Opening: “Hair and Skin” at Derek Eller Gallery
This group show, helmed by Derek Eller’s Isaac Lyles “presents the body in extremes to explore the potential of physical empathy and bodily resonance,” according to its news release. One hell of an artist list on this one, including Hans Bellmer, Louise Bourgeois, Günter Brus (whose work is pictured), Adam Putnam, Davina Semo, Maria Petschnig and Aneta Grzeszykowska, who made Headache (2008), that mesmerizing video of hands, feet and heads doing all sorts of wild things in SculptureCenter’s fall 2012 show “A Disagreeable Object.” —Andrew Russeth

Opening: “Bathers” at Morgan Lehman
Summer is all about the beach, water and flesh, and so this sounds like one great summer group show, focusing on that time-honored Modernist subject, the bather.
