The house of Champagne Perrier- Jouet Presents: Acclaimed ceramicist, Hitomi Hosono’s first solo exhibition

Now exhibiting at the St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel, in their members only Chambers Club in the heart of King’s Cross, is winner of the inaugural Perrier-Jouet arts salon prize winner, Hitomi Hosono’s, newest ceramics collection until 4^th of August. Hisono is a London based ceramicist who was selected by the Perrier- Jouet Arts salon members from a shortlist of 12 candidates, nominated by leaders within contemporary craft. The Perrier- Jouet Arts Salon, made up of 13 of the UK’s foremost creative influencers, ranging from editors, curators, fashion designers, collectors and artists whom all unanamously chose Hosono for her ‘fulfilment of the criteria to evoke a contemporary interpretation of the art Nouveau spirit of the house of Champagne Perrier- Jouet.‘ One of the thirteen members on the panel, Tony Chambers, editor –in- chief- of Wallpaper, proclaimed that “Hitomi Hosono’s first solo exhibition of her exquisite ceramic works should not be missed”

Hosono, who is a modest and charming recentgraduate from the Royal College of Art London, 2009 with an MA in Ceramics and Glass. She is inspired by the natural beauty of plants and flowers and has been practicing and evolving with her craft for several years. “It is a true honour to receive the Perrier Jouet’s Art Salon Prize, which will allow me to engage with new and inspiring experiences and, and enable me to pursue creative challenges within my craft.” Said Hosono.

In addition to a solo exhibtion at the St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel Chambers Club, Hosono will receive the following support towards the development of her career:

10,000 pound cash prize towards her craft
All expenses paid trip to the Perrier-Jouet Maison Belle Epoque, Epernay, France which houses the largest collection of Art Nouveau works in Europe
All expenses paid trip to Design Miami/ December 2013, the worlds foremost design fair of which Perrier-jouet is the official champagne sponsor

Members of the public will be able to view the exhibition by appointment only, and will be provided with a free glass of complimentary Champagne Perrier- Jouet Grand Brut.
