Higher Pitch is calling for submissions of work from the advertising community for its ART SELLS exhibition that will take place in London later this year.
The premise of the exhibition is to showcase the true creativity that those working in the international advertising industry are capable of, when given free reign and full creative license. It is about championing artistic talent within advertising and
encouraging the industry to put this at the heart of all future campaigns.
Co-founder of Higher Pitch, Suzie Quill says: “We wanted to answer the call for creative freedom in the industry and to challenge people’s view of creativity in
advertising. We want to show everyone what we, as an industry, can achieve
creatively without briefs and free from outside influence.”
Co-founder of Higher Pitch, Mel Fong-Brown says: “Our belief is that art sells – it has done for centuries. By putting artist talent at the heart of advertising we believe we can produce truly inspiring and successful creative work. The talent is already there in our industry; we just need to encourage people to embrace it. And that’s what we hope to achieve with this exhibition.”
Mel and Suzie have called on the talent of iconic illustrator and designer Anthony
Burrill to design their invitation, who, as an artist working in advertising, personifies the Higher Pitch mission.
