Petro has been a stalwart of the London graf scene for about 20 years and is justly celebrated for his unique visual style. What started as a novel
way of filling in his letter forms has blown into a full scale obsession with all things calligraphic. World renowned and prolific, Petro has a cult following but likes to keep a low profile (it’s taken over a year to get this print out of him).
These were made by painting onto acetate and processing the screen directly from that, in the hope of really capturing his hand style. And like Petro’s street work, these come in a bewildering array of colours…
