Here at FAD, we await the opening of the Daydreaming project at the Haunch of Venison, with a mixture of anticipation and curiosity. One recent addition to the show has heightened our interest even further, the announcement that Kai and Sunny will be exhibiting. We caught up briefly with Kai, and he kindly sent over a glimpse of what will be on display. The two pieces they will be exhibiting are entitled ‘Country Tune – North’ and ‘Country Tune – South’. We look forward to seeing them in real life very soon.
FAD also caught up with James Lavelle and asked him about the Daydreaming collaboration, we’ve edited the interview in to a series that will be building up to the launch on August 27th. The exhibition will see the release of the new UNKLE single ‘The Answer’ and an EP due for release on Sept 13th, that many of the artists have used as a source of inspiration for their works. ‘We hear that James Lavelle and Pablo Clements have been very busy in the Brighton studio working on the EP with the rest of the band.’
