TOMMY GRACE and KATE OWENS (both B. 1979, Edinburgh and Falkirk respectively, both based in London), both gained their BA (Hons) Painting at Edinburgh College of Art (2002). Owens also gained her MA Sculpture at Royal College of Art (2008). Grace and Owens were both founding directors of the Embassy Gallery, Edinburgh. Grace’s current solos show is at Ingleby Gallery, Edinburgh, and Owens’ forthcoming solo show will be held at Dicksmith Gallery, London (2009).

Limoncello’s punctuation programme is a series of lectures, performances and events held between gallery exhibitions. The programme offers the gallery artists and the people around them a site to try out ideas. If as JG Ballard has claimed, short stories are the loose change of the literary world, then the punctuation programme events are ‘looking after the pennies’, although in a non-fiscal way because they are non-commercially viable work within a commercial context.
This event is kindly sponsored by The Elephant Trust.
