Greetings und guten tag mein dear Fad reader. I gives me great pleasure to announce my forthcoming excursion to the Basel art fair in sunny Miami. I am much looking forward to seeing some of world’s finest contemporary galleries showing off their wares.
Art Basel Miami, the sister fair to Basel Switzerland has grown into an expansive an event over the years, with over 25 satellite fairs, including the fantastic Wynwood art and design district. The merry-go round of fairs, lectures and tours can leave one giddy, not to mention the countless cocktail parties at the über cool and trendy hotels along Collins Avenue. It is quite a whirl that I can assure you. I just hope I have the stamina to keep up with it all.
