This is the artist’s eighth exhibition at Stephen Friedman gallery and follows his recently unveiled monument to Richard Wagner in Leipzig and an installation at St Elizabeth Church, Kassel, to coincide with Documenta 13.

“Syrians are filming their own death”, are the first lines of the ‘Pixelated Revolution’ performance. A type of performance piece which aims to study the various tips and directions on mobile phone documentation, as shared via the medium of Facebook and other virtual communication tools during the first year’s events of the Syrian revolution.
