When Winston Churchill was asked to cut arts funding in favour of the war effort, he replied, “Then what are we fighting for?”
Like Churchill, Hastings based multi media artist Jeffrey Louis-Reed, aka DJ Disastronaut, feels very strongly that the arts are worth fighting for and intends to focus his energy towards this fight in the run up to the forthcoming General Election in May – His question at last nights debate being just one of many planned actions.
