Art of Noise is a new monthly event at Mine Bar in Leeds University Union. Each month the event will showcase brand new talent in all areas of the Art discipline including painting, photography, installation, sound piece, performance art and film and animation. The main aim of this venture is to create a real community feel amongst artists in the Leeds area. Artists from all over Leeds, as well as students from every institution that runs an art course, are encouraged to exhibit their work here. As well as art there will be up to three musical acts playing at each event: an acoustic act in the afternoon, and a headline and supporting act in the evening. The event will run from 12 noon till 11pm, and between noon and 5pm Sunday Lunch will be served (£4.95 including pint of Carling)
