Frieze Los Angeles returns to the Santa Monica Airport from 26th February to 1st March 2026, marking its seventh edition and fourth year at the site. The fair once again unfolds within a custom-built structure that echoes the city’s indoor–outdoor rhythm, offering an immersive setting designed for movement, discovery and exchange. As Los Angeles continues to evolve, the fair maintains its role as a catalyst for collaboration, bringing together artists, galleries and audiences shaping contemporary culture locally and globally.

Global Scope, Local Strength
More than 95 galleries from 22 countries will participate, presenting influential voices across contemporary art. International leaders including Gagosian, Gladstone, Hauser & Wirth, Lisson Gallery, Pace, Perrotin, Almine Rech, Thaddaeus Ropac, White Cube and David Zwirner anchor the fair’s global reach.
Los Angeles’ own gallery community remains a defining force. Matthew Brown, Château Shatto, Commonwealth and Council, Anat Ebgi, David Kordansky Gallery, The Pit, and Roberts Projects return alongside international contributors such as James Cohan, Massimo De Carlo, Sebastian Gladstone, Galerie Max Hetzler, Maureen Paley and Richard Saltoun.
New voices join the 2026 edition, including El Apartamento, Bradley Ertaskiran, Cardi Gallery, Fort Gansevoort, Josh Lilley, Lomex and Nicodim. Returning galleries—Stephen Friedman Gallery, Gallery Hyundai, Sprüth Magers, Craig Starr Gallery and Various Small Fires—further expand the field.
Focus: Emerging Perspectives
The Focus section continues to highlight new artistic voices. Curated for the third year by Essence Harden, the platform brings together fifteen US-based galleries operating for twelve years or fewer. Participants include Bel Ami, Company Gallery, Dreamsong, Fernberger, Lyles & King, Make Room, Ochi, Patron, Sea View and Hannah Traore Gallery.
Supported by Stone Island, Focus remains a crucial space for experimentation. Since the partnership began, 170 presentations have been enabled, reinforcing the fair’s long-standing commitment to discovery, diversity and emerging talent.
Citywide Activations
Frieze once again extends beyond the fair site through public programming across Los Angeles. Art Production Fund returns with a new series of free, site-specific installations at the Santa Monica Airport campus, continuing APF’s mission to bring accessible contemporary art into the public realm.
Long-standing initiatives anchor the fair’s social impact commitments. The Deutsche Bank Frieze Los Angeles Film Award, now in its seventh year, supports emerging filmmakers aged 18–34. The Frieze Impact Prize, presented with WME Impact and NXTHVN, provides opportunities for emerging artists and curators of color through education, visibility and community support.
Frieze Week
Across the city, Frieze Week amplifies the fair with landmark exhibitions and cultural programming. Highlights include MONUMENTS at MOCA and The Brick; Robert Therrien: This is a Story at The Broad; How to be a Guerrilla Girl at the Getty Center; Made in L.A. 2025 at the Hammer Museum; Sandra Vásquez de la Horra: The Awake Volcanoes at ICA LA; Alejandro G. Iñárritu’s SUEÑO PERRO at LACMA; and BRUCE CONNER / RECORDING ANGEL at the Marciano Art Foundation.
