The Los Angeles Department of Transportation has recruited artist Alan Nakagawa to reduce traffic deaths, approaching language in a way to reinforce shared space and communal perceptions of the roads. The artist will “will continue this tradition, with a focus on how we can infuse art into design to create safer streets,” you can read more over at Curbed L.A
