The arrival of Clément Delépine represents the start of an exciting new chapter for Lafayette Anticipations in support of contemporary creation.”
Guillaume Houzé, President of Lafayette Anticipations

“I feel incredibly fortunate to join Lafayette Anticipations and take over from Rebecca Lamarche-Vadel, whose vision I have admired over the past six years. I have considerable affection for this institution and I am honoured by the trust Guillaume Houzé has placed in me. I am looking forward to further affirming its unique positioning on the French and international art scene. It has been a privilege to direct Art Basel Paris and I would like to express my immense gratitude to Noah Horowitz, Vincenzo de Bellis and all the teams at Art Basel for their trust and support.”

Set up in October 2013 by the Galeries Lafayette Group, Lafayette Anticipations – Galeries
Lafayette corporate Fondation opened its doors in March 2018 in a 19th-century industrial building renovated by OMA (Rem Koolhaas) located on rue du Plâtre in the heart of the Marais district in Paris. The Fondation is a place of exhibitions and sharing dedicated to the visual and performing arts that invites visitors to discover other ways of seeing, feeling, and listening to today’s world in order to better imagine, thanks to artists, the world of tomorrow. Each year, the Fondation presents through its exhibitions, daring, inspiring, and moving works, offering as many visions of the world as ways of living in it. The emerging music scene is invited to the Closer Music Festival in February, and the performing arts meet the visual arts during the Échelle Humaine Festival in September. The public programme reflects, through talks, conversations, and performances, the ideas that shape and shake up our time. As a vibrant space open to the public, the Fondation also houses The Librairie that stocks titles published by Éditions Lafayette Anticipations, and books related to the programme and social issues, as well as a range of design objets.
