EDGLRD, the design collective founded by filmmaker Harmony Korine, has announced the launch of its video game division, EDGLRD Games.

The initiative will focus on publishing cutting-edge interactive works that push technology and the arts into new dimensions. The first title under this banner, Tamashika, is a psychedelic, arcade-style FPS designed as a pure sensory experience. Developed by indie studio Quicktequila, Tamashika will be publicly playable for the first time at Day of the Devs (March 16th) and the Game Developers Conference (March 17th-21st, 2025).
The game is set to launch in Summer 2025 and is now available to wishlist on Steam.
Built with speed, precision, and fluid motion at its core, Tamashika places players in a procedurally generated labyrinth, armed with a semi-automatic pistol, a tanto blade, and abilities like parrying, teleportation, and astral projection. It’s less of a traditional game and more of an audiovisual trip—fusing hand-drawn animations, precision sound design, and an unpredictable, rhythmic flow state.
“Wipeout set the standard for immersion. GTA redefined player freedom. Tamashika pushes the next wave of sensory experiences. Our games are built to be instinctive—fast, dynamic, and engaging.”
— Harmony Korine, Founder, EDGLRD
EDGLRD Games is more than a publisher—it’s a platform for radical innovations in technology and art. The division is built to support developers who share a vision for breaking formats and reshaping what interactive media can be. As part of this mission, EDGLRD Games will take a multi-platform approach, integrating its titles into film, TV, webtoons, and merchandise. The goal is not just to release games but to create cultural events—projects that live across multiple dimensions and redefine how entertainment is experienced.
Leading the initiative is Ben Morsberger, who brings expertise from both the gaming and film industries. Serving as an advisor is Greg Rice, a seasoned professional with decades of experience who has supported developers large and small at CAA, Double Fine Productions, Day of the Devs, and Sony Interactive Entertainment. Morsberger joins following his work as lead creative consultant on The Super Mario Bros. Movie—the highest-grossing video game adaptation of all time—bringing a deep understanding of franchise-building and the convergence of film, interactive media, and gaming to establish games as part of a larger cultural movement.
With the launch of EDGLRD Games, the studio is actively seeking submissions from developers working on bold, experimental projects that blur the lines between film, gaming, and interactive art. Games will be released on PC, Nintendo, and PlayStation.
