With 82 international galleries and some 20 institutional projects, Art Genève, a salon-style art fair that is both intimate and open to the international scene, takes place for the 13th time in 2025.

Visitors will be able to immerse themselves in a visually redesigned atmosphere, discover a new educational programme focusing on the art market, and explore the parallel fair dedicated to art books and contemporary prints, organised by HEAD – Genève.

This year’s edition of Art Genève is collaborating with leading Swiss institutions such as the Kunst Museum Winterthur, MASI Lugano, the Musée des Beaux-Arts du Locle and the Fondation Gandur pour l’Art. The programme is also expanding its international reach, with exceptional guest presentations by institutions such as the Cranford Collection, London, the CAB Foundation, Brussels and the Sammlung Scharf-Gerstenberg, Berlin.

Geneva will be represented at Art Genève by the MAMCO presenting its ‘in course of acquisition’ stand, offering a captivating glimpse of current acquisitions. In addition to its presence at the fair, the Musée d’Art et d’Histoire (MAH) will be presenting a major exhibition. The cantonal and municipal art funds will be showcasing carefully selected works, while for the first time, the Plaza Foundation will be unveiling a new project combining cinema and contemporary art in an original setting. This exciting institutional programme is supported by the Geneva Free Ports & Warehouses.

Art Genève unveils the second edition of Sur-Mesure, an exclusive platform dedicated to monumental works offered by prestigious galleries and selected by curator Nicolas Trembley. This year, Art Genève\Musique invites guests to enjoy a unique experience with exceptional external performances by artists Charlemagne Palestine and Olaf Nicolai, conducted by Augustin Maurs and Catherine Othenin-Girard, in collaboration with the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande.

The Solo Shows section will showcase some thirty talented artists in a series of captivating solo exhibitions, one of which will be awarded the prestigious Prix Solo Art Genève – F.P.Journe. The winning work will then be acquired and donated to a Geneva institution. Finally, the Prix Mobilière, dedicated to young Swiss artists, will present the creations of the talents nominated for 2025, in a space that reflects the vitality and diversity of the Swiss art scene.

HEAD – Genève, the Geneva University of Art and Design, will be inaugurating an exclusive exhibition entitled ‘Design Heads: creating tomorrow’ on its campus during Art Genève, offering a fascinating glimpse of the innovations proposed by young talent from the university. At the same time, Palexpo will host the 5? edition of P.A.G.E.S., the International Art Book and Contemporary Print Fair..

Finally, a programme of conferences, supported by Christie’s Art Finance, will offer a series of stimulating discussions throughout the week, with contributions from the Engadin Art Talks and the Verbier Art Summit.
