7 Art Fairs to visit during Frieze Week London.

It’s October next week so it is all set to go crazy in London art land – to be honest, it started a week ago really but for the sake of this intro – So to help you navigate the madness we have picked 7 yes SEVEN art fairs to go and visit between the 8th and the 13th October (known as Frieze Week)

1 & 2 Frieze London & Frieze Masters 9th – 13th October, 2024

Frieze London and Frieze Masters return to Regent’s Park. Bringing together over 270 galleries spanning 47 countries, the two fairs will serve as a nexus for art, ideas and people, presenting a comprehensive survey of contemporary practice alongside millennia of art history. MORE: @friezeofficial

3 Minor Attractions October 9th-13 (8th VIP)

Minor Attractions has announced its second edition, taking place at the Mandrake Hotel in London’s arts-driven Fitzrovia neighbourhood, the satellite fair brings together some of the most exciting contemporary art galleries and non-profit artspaces from North America to Central and Eastern Europe. In addition to showcasing the cutting edge of art production today, Minor Attractions realises an alternative fair model, reimagining international exhibition-making for risk-prone galleries while cultivating a vibrant social context that sits at the core of the event. 4 1-54 London 10th-13th October, 2024

Returning to the iconic, neoclassical building of Somerset House, located in the very heart of the city and overlooking the River Thames, the fair will be held in the West, East, South and Embankment galleries. This year, more than 60 galleries have been carefully selected, showcasing the varied mediums and work of over 160 established and emerging artists hailing from the continent and global diasporas. The fair will be accompanied by special curated events, as well as a rich VIP and Public programme.

5 Focus Art Fair 10-13th October 2024

FOCUS Art Fair to present a refreshing new showcase of sustainability, equality, and innovation.
FOCUS’s exhibitors will showcase a captivating fusion of the physical and digital worlds. Among the highlights is Gore Gallery, featuring a solo show by Olivier Mourao also featuring Global partners like One East Asia and NYC Culture Club, which strive to make art accessible to all—regardless of race, gender, or class plus Roche Bobois in collaboration with Chinese designer Jiang Qiong Er, will unveil their Bamboo Mood Collection.

6 PAD London 8th to 13th October 2024

PAD London to present 63 galleries participating in its sixteenth edition. The fair will return to its iconic location in Berkeley Square, Mayfair welcoming 12 exceptional new galleries to its roster, many of which are London-based this year. MORE: @padesignart

7 The Other Art Fair 10th to 13th October 2024

This will be The Other Art Fair’s 100th global edition marking a decade of revolutionising the art world. Since its inception, the fair has showcased nearly 10,000 artists, building a diverse platform that broadens access to new artistic voices and audiences. This 100th edition is set to be packed with many highlights, including: 200 handpicked artists showcasing their work,  A collaboration with Central Saint Martins UAL, featuring top graduate talent  Rankin’s return with SWAG, his innovative concept in photography collecting Tattoo artist Suki Lune offering tattoos to attendees AND a special highlight of this edition is its dedication to the late artist Dan Hillier, the fair will feature a retrospective of Hillier’s greatest works, including a limited edition of his iconic piece, Seer, available in 150 certified prints. MORE: @theotherartfair
